Green Waste Program Expands
NEW! Dahl Disposal Service, in conjunction with Lincoln County and the Cities of Toledo, Waldport and Yachats now have a new service, the curbside collection of Mixed Compostables!
We are pleased to announce that our green waste program has expanded to include food waste.
With this service, customers receive a 95 gallon cart (with green lid) which holds approximately 1/2 a yard. We hope this will help our customers to divert more material from their garbage.
Acceptable materials include:
- Twigs/small branches (less than 2 inches in diameter and less than 3 feet long)
- Leaves
- Lawn clippings
- Any vegetation "if it grows, it goes".
- All Food (fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, bones, cheese, etc.)
- Food-Soiled Paper (napkins, paper towels, pizza boxes, etc.)

Woody debris such as lumber or painted or treated wood cannot go into this cart. Do not use plastic bags. Carts will be serviced every other week, please see service calendar link below.
