Residential Curbside Collection

Curbside Garbage and Recycling Services

This is our standard service, and we provide the carts. Garbage and recycling carts will be picked up on the curb. Be sure to keep the carts at least 4 feet away from the mailbox and also 4 feet away from each other. Cart wheels face away from the road.

Cart Weights

Overweight carts pose a risk to our drivers as well as our customers.

The maximum weight for a residential cart is 150 pounds.

The maximum weight for a customer-provided can, bag or box that needs to be lifted by the driver is 60 pounds.

Curbside Enclosure for Garbage and Recycling Carts

Garbage and recycling carts will be picked up at the curb, county road, state highway, or public roadway. If the carts are located inside an enclosure that requires the driver to exit the vehicle to retrieve the carts certain standards are needed, as well as additional charges. Enclosure must be unlocked and accessible from the roadside. The enclosure must be easily accessible for our driver to wheel the carts in and out of and we cannot lift or pull carts out of an enclosure or in the ground.

Driveway Garbage and Recycling Service

Garbage and recycling carts will be picked up in your driveway. However, the driver is not required to get out of the vehicle to retrieve carts. The driveway must be brushed and maintained a minimum of 14’ in height and 14’ width. Please be sure to take into consideration that our trucks are as heavy as a fire truck, and 2 of them will be driving up and down your driveway depending on the level of service. This will cause additional wear and tear on the driveway, which we are not responsible for repairing. Additional fees apply.

A minimum month fee applies and the carts are left at the residence year around.

Bear Carts Temporary Use

A bear cart has a lid that is designed with a latch system that must be manually opened and is designed to prevent animals from opening them. Our drivers must physically get out of the truck to open and empty the cart. These are meant for short term use (generally 3-6 months) and are to deter animals. Additional fees apply.
