Know Before You Roll Out the Cart
Some holidays may affect your trash and recycling pickup schedule. Dahl Disposal Service is committed to providing consistent, reliable service year-round—but when a holiday changes our routes, we’ll let you know. Use this page to stay updated and avoid missed pickups.
Our Observed Holidays
We observe the following holidays each year. If your regular collection day falls on or after one of these dates, service will be delayed by one day for the rest of that week.
Holidays we observe
- New Year’s Day – January 1
- Thanksgiving Day – the fourth Thursday in November
- Christmas Day – December 25
If one of these three holidays falls on a weekend, service will continue as usual. If they fall on a Friday, service will be re-scheduled. If the holiday occurs earlier in the week, Friday customers will still be serviced on Friday of the holiday week.
Service Delay Guidelines
- One-Day Delay: When your pickup day lands on or after the holiday, it moves one day later. However, unless the holiday itself falls on Friday, Friday customers will be serviced on Friday.
- No Change: If your pickup day falls before the holiday, service remains the same.
- Weekend Holidays: No changes to your regular schedule.
