No appointment needed for most loads. You will need an appointment if you are bringing 5 or more cars, or if you need help unloading your trailer. Please call before bringing in an RV, boat or travel trailer.

Types of Metal We Buy

We purchase a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from residents and small businesses.  Please note we only pay mixed ferrous prices, no extra for sorted non-ferrous metals.

✔ Accepted Materials:

• Cars & Trucks (tires removed no fluids, must be drained; cannot remove tires or drain fluids on-site) *Please call ahead for information about title and additional paperwork required
• Boats and fishing vessels (title needed, no fluids, cannot be drained on-site)
• Old engines and motors (fluids drained, cannot be drained on-site)
• Demolition scrap metal
• Tin roofs and siding
• Appliances
• Bed frames
• BBQ pits
• Shelves
• Fencing and rebar
• Farm and industrial machinery

Please note:

• Items must be at least 95% metal
• We accept less than 400lbs for free
• Property documentation is required for non-household items

✘ Not Accepted:

• Propane tanks or pressurized containers (cylinders, or intact barrels)
• Paint cans
• Items with excessive plastic or debris
• No precious metals
• Hazardous or radioactive materials

Easy Drop-Off, Fast Payment

Here’s how to recycle your metal and get paid:

1. Bring your sorted metal and a valid government issued photo ID to the Toledo Transfer Station or the South Lincoln Transfer Center
2. We request that you arrive with the time and help you need to unload your items
3. Pull up to the scale and let our staff inspect your items
4. We’ll weigh your load to get the heavy weight
5. You’ll sign a declaration that the property you’re selling us is not stolen, and that you have permission of the owner to bring it on.
6. Unload your metal at the metal pile. If you need help, please call to make an appointment in advance.  We do charge for this labor.
7. Return to the scale to get your empty weight.
8. Finally, you’ll receive a check for the full amount, based on current market prices. You need a minimum of 400 pounds to get paid. If metal is over 2 tons we pay out an additional $20 above gate rate. Vehicles get the additional $20 over gate rate. WE DO NOT PAY IN CASH.
